I'm Diana Louisa and being a psychologist, although it's just one of the roles I play in life, is a job that I embrace with great passion and responsibility. 

I'm privileged to work with people and their stories. Their emotions, relationships, child development and human behaviour are subjects that gives me immense curiosity. 

I believe in people and in the power of (re)construction in a free, safe and appreciative context. In my eyes, therapy makes this possible as it acts as an example of a safe relationship, as a place of freedom and giving voice to emotions, where you choose to process what hurts and be what you are without judgement. It's a space of embrace, curiosity and acceptance of vulnerabilities. 

The therapeutic relationship built with each client is unique and guided by respect, honesty and safety. In this relationship, my commitment is to listen, welcome and translate so that, together, we can provide care and move towards a life of less suffering.  

The real aim of therapy is to facilitate the process of autonomy, to encourage people to be who they are without embarrassment, often recounting and reliving wounds and vulnerabilities so that they can then enjoy a lighter, higher quality life.
